Summary Annual Report
Wednesday, September 30 2009 Event Description: The Plan Administrator must distribute the Summary Annual Report (SAR) to plan participants by the last day of the 9th month from plan year end. Plans that file for an extension to the Form 5500 deadline must distribute the SAR within 2 months after the extended deadline. The SAR is a simplified summary of the full Form 5500.
