Staff of Cobb Retirement Solutions, LLC

Marshall J. Cobb, President

Marshall began working with qualified plans in 1990 and spent the bulk of that decade as a representative of retirement plan vendors. He held prominent sales and management positions within these firms but did not find satisfaction representing a particular product to clients with diverse needs.
Using his first-hand knowledge of the vendor community, Marshall launched a qualified retirement plan consulting practice in the fall of 2001. This consulting practice culminated with the opening of Cobb Retirement Solutions, LLC (CRS) in the summer of 2003.

Marshall is proud to serve as an investment advisor and advocate for a number of local and regional employers. He has been featured as a speaker for the Southwest Benefits  publications such as MSN Money and The Houston Business Journal

Marshall holds a B.S. from the University of Texas. He is a member of the SWBA, the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB). Marshall holds the Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) designation and is currently working towards two other industry designations.

Tom Ferrari, Associate

Tom brings more than 15 years of industry experience. At CRS, Tom is responsible for investment research, employee education and vendor negotiations. He also serves as a primary point of contact for the majority of CRS’s clientele.

Before joining the firm, Tom spent more than a decade with a premier retirement vendor, where he worked in participant communication, education, sales, and service. He enjoys bringing his vendor-side experience to plan sponsors to assist them in building better retirement outcomes for their participants.

Tom received his B.A. from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Throughout his career, Tom has been involved in a number of industry associations, including the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA), the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA), and American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administrators (ASHHRA).

Rebekah Hinojosa, Office Manager

Prior to joining CRS four years ago, Rebekah worked for a number of years as a staff member of another Houston-based employee benefits firm. She oversees all administrative functions of CRS and is currently undergoing training that will allow her to provide consulting and investment analysis services.

Rebekah received her B.S. from the University of Houston – Downtown and holds the Registered Paraplanner® designation.
