Staff of Cobb Retirement Solutions, LLC

Marshall J. Cobb, President

about_us_m_cobbMarshall began working with qualified plans in 1990 and spent the bulk of that decade as a representative of retirement plan vendors. He held prominent sales and management positions within these firms but did not find satisfaction representing a particular product to clients with diverse needs.

Using his first-hand knowledge of the vendor community, Marshall launched a qualified retirement plan consulting practice in the fall of 2001. This consulting practice culminated with the opening of Cobb Retirement Solutions, LLC (CRS) in the summer of 2003.

Marshall is proud to serve as an investment advisor and advocate for a number of local and national employers. He has been featured as a speaker for the Southwest Benefits Association and in publications such as MSN Money, The Houston Chronicle, The Journal of Pension Benefits and The Houston Business Journal.

Marshall holds a B.S. from the University of Texas. He is a member of the Southwest Benefits Association (SWBA), the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the American Society of Pension Professional & Actuaries (ASPPA) and the Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB). Marshall holds the Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designations.
